Visit Issan, north-east Thailand

 The north-eastern area of Thailand has for many years been neglected by tourists.
Sometimes it has sadly even been looked down on, as the people in this struggling area try hard to make a living.
Now, more organisations are trying hard to encourage tourism in this rural area. Often described as part of the real unspoilt Thailand.
